泣く子も黙るヒゲ親父、元祖エレクトロディスコ親父、ネバーエンディングストーリー親父、トップガン親父。アイフィールラブ親父。肩書きは尽きません、イタリアの石立鉄男ことジョルジオ・モロダーが「Extraordinary（異常、風変わり）」なレコード盤のコレクションをまとめたアート本を出します。

■ Extraordinary Records - Any Color Except Black（Taschen）

Produced in collaboration with Colors magazine, this book showcases over 400 of the most exceptional records owned by leading collectors Alessandro Benedetti and Peter Bastine. Extraordinary RecordsにはMonochrome Vinyl、Unsual Vinyl、Multicolored Vinyl、Etched Vinyl、Shaped Vinyl、Picture Discsのジャンルがあるそうです。

よく読むと、Alessandro BenedettiとPeter Bastineという二人のコレクターが寄稿という形で関わっているので、ジョルジオ・モロダー単独のコレクションということではなさそう。むしろジョルジオ・モロダーが出版を企画・監修した、というのが正しいのかも。先の二人は8,000枚のピクチャーレコードのコレクションを持っていて、展覧会を開いたりしている筋金入りなんだとか。

自分もMonochrome Vinylなら数枚もってますが、総じて音があまり良くないので、こういう特殊仕様のレコードは意識して避けてきたところがあります。プリンスのレコードをコレクションする身としては、変なレコードは避けて通ることが出来ない場所なのですが。

せっかくなので、一曲ジョルジオ・モロダーの曲の動画を貼っときます。このビデオクリップは良く出来てますがオフィシャルなものではありません。

ところで、リンクを張るためにジョルジオ・モロダーの公式サイトを見つけて、さらっと目を通そうとすると「CIZETA-MORODER」という変な項目に目が止まりました。

■ THE CIZETA-MORODER V16T（the official Giorgio Moroder Web Site）

In the mid 1980s, Giorgio Moroder and sports car specialist Claudio Zampolli decided they wanted to create something truly unique. Their vision was of the ultimate super-luxury, super-performance sports car. This car borrowed from the realm of rich men's daydreams would offer everything the wealthiest might want in such a vehicle-bold innovative styling, custom manufacturing, greatly enhanced performance, and infinite luxury. Combining their names (Cizeta is Italian for C.Z., Zampolli's initials), the two men decided to refer to their supercar as the Cizeta-Moroder.

80年代中期、ジョルジオ・モロダー絶好調の時期にメーカーと組んで「ultimate super-luxury, super-performance sports car」を作っていたという話。お値段は一台$600,000から。「CIZETA-MORODER」で検索すると、いくつかのスーパーカーを扱うサイトにヒットしました。

■ チゼータ・V16T（Area Zero Super Car）

チゼータ（Ci・Zeta）とは、かつてイタリアに存在した自動車メーカー。1966年から1973年までランボルギーニに在籍していた、クラウディオ・ザンポーリ (Claudio Zampolli) が創始者。彼は、アメリカでのスーパーカー販売に成功し、1980年代前半に世界的ミュージシャンであったジョルジオ・モロダーと「誰も見たこともないスーパーカーを作ろう」というアイデアを元に共同出資で、イタリアのモデナに「チゼータ・モロダーSRL」を設立した。（中略）チゼータは1991年にV16Tの市販を開始したが、世界的なバブル崩壊の影響を受け、さらに最大の出資者であるモロダーの離脱などにより、わずか数台のV16Tを生産し、会社は一度倒産した。
