テクノ・ハウス系の情報サイト「Resident Advisor」のPodcastに、ハロウィーンにあわせてか、ホラー映画の巨匠ジョン・カーペンターの作品で監督とのコンビで数々の名作サントラを作り上げてきたアラン・ホワース（Alan Howarth）が登場。2人の手がけたサントラの曲を中心にミックスしたものが公開されています。ダウンロード可。

You may not know the name Alan Howarth, but you'll surely have heard his music before. He's been involved with the sound design of movies like Raiders of the Lost Ark, Poltergeist and all of the Star Trek movies. Some of his finest work, though, has come in collaboration with John Carpenter, whose soundtrack to Escape from New York has been beloved, rinsed and re-edited by countless DJs. Renowned for his murky and unstable atmospheres, Howarth's work is perfect for this time of year, which is exactly why we asked him to delve into his archives to provide a special Halloween mix in honor of his performances at this year's Unsound festival.

「ゼイリブ」のSEから始まるジョン・カーペンター＆アラン・ホワースの名曲の数々！もちろん「ハロウィン」も入ってます。ミックスとは言っても、ほぼ曲が並んでるだけですが、音源の入手しにくい名曲が高音質で聴けるだけで十分満足です。トラックリストはRAのコメント欄で製作中です（→Link）。ハロウィンの夜にカボチャの煮付けでも食べながら聴きましょう。
